- Nancy Kerrigan’s ankle was still ok.
- DVD Players were yet to be introduced in the U.S.
- World Trade Center attacked.
- Europeans agree on single currency, the euro.
- President Clinton accused in White House sex scandal.
- Columbine High School Massacre
- JFK Jr.’s wife lost at sea.
- Mad cow disease alarms Europe.
- Saddam Hussein is captured by American troops.
- Enormous Tsunami devastates Asia; 200,000 killed.
- Pope John Paul II Dies.
- Hurricane Katrina
- Saddam Hussein executed.
- First Black President for the United States elected.
- Cowboys lose to Eagles 44-6 and miss playoffs…beautiful
- Quarters now made for all 50 states.
- Tom Landry dies at 75.
- World Population passed 6 billion.
- Blu Ray takes over the DVD market.
- China becomes 3rd nation to put a human in space
- The NY Giants appeared in 2 Super Bowls and won 1 of them
- Derek Jeter was a rookie.
- Plaxico Burress graduates high school…(without a bullet hole in his leg)
